The social media user mentioned above said the website was under a DDoS attack.
A denial-of-service (DoS) attack is a cyber-attack in which the hacker seeks to make a machine or network resource unavailable to users by temporarily or indefinitely disrupting the services. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) is when multiple systems flood the resources of the targetted system with traffic that can lead to disrupting the services.
No hacker group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

An official response from the party is awaited. Access to the site remains restricted.
