BJP govt brought unemployment out of the closet, says Maneka Gandhi

CNBC-TV18’s Parikshit Luthra spoke to Union Minister Maneka Gandhi about the implications of the Rafale scam on the Bharatiya Janata Party's election prospects and the women reservation bill.
“There is no such thing as Rafale scam. There is no scam,” she said.
Talking about the women reservation bill, she said, “I think that every parliamentarian is accountable. It can only happen when the first step happens which is that every party give a certain amount of seats to women generally.”
With regards to the unemployment, Gandhi said, “I think the BJP government brought unemployment out of the closet because nobody talked about it before and attempted to deal with it by making even a skilled development ministry. The answer to this would be to take that ministry seriously, make it so strong and talk about less employment, more self-employment.”
