Paris continues to top the list of the world's most attractive city destinations, according to a global market research company's annual report. On Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations Index 2023, you'd be surprised to find out which city takes the second spot. The Spanish capital of Madrid ranked third. The Euromonitor International report takes into account 55 metrics across six key pillars — economic and business performance, tourism performance, tourism infrastructure, tourism policy and attractiveness, health and safety, and sustainability — for 100 city destinations to prepare the final list. Let us take a look at the top 10 most-visited city destinations of 2023 as per the Euromonitor International report.
No 1. Paris, France | Paris is one of the most popular destinations across Europe and the world. From museums and tourist attractions to its renowned gardens, and cafes, it has played a significant role in supporting travel and tourism in France.
