1. Samsung Galaxy Fold: Samsung’s breakthrough foldable phone Galaxy Fold is finally due to release on September after the smartphone suffered display fragility issues. The company said it has fixed the flaws by extending the protective layer that covers the screen to prevent it from being removed, as well as strengthening the hinge and display. The $1,980 Galaxy Fold has a 4.6-inch Infinity Flex display on the outside with a massive 7.3-inch panel on the inside. (Image: AP)
Huawei Mate X: Another foldable phone in the race is Huawei’s Mate X, is expected to be launched in September this year. The company announced the launch at the Mobile World Congress and has a display with 8-inches from corner-to-corner with 5G connectivity. (Image: IANS)
3. Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL: Google’s flagship smartphone Pixel 4 and 4 XL is expected to be unveiled in the fall of this year. A photo of the back side of the handset released by Google confirmed that the new handset will carry dual-lens rear shooters. 4. iPhone 11: In its annual product launch event, Cupertino-based Apple will release its next set of iPhone in just a few months. Apples upcoming iPhone 11 line-up is expected to feature the company's new A13 chip, sport a new Taptic Engine and feature a lightning port for audio and charging. According to the report, the new iPhone 11 models replacing the iPhone XS series would have a triple rear camera setup at the back and all three sensors will be placed at the back. Known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also earlier suggested that the upcoming iPhone models would be equipped with reverse wireless charging. (Image: Tom's Guide)
5. Samsung Galaxy Note 10: The latest Note handset will definitely find a mention in the August 7 press event by the company. The latest Note 10 is rumoured to have two versions with – one sized at 6.4 inches and the other at 6.7 inches, called the Note 10+ or Pro. 6. Sony Xperia 1: Sony went a step ahead with its display by opting for a 21:9 aspect ratio for the Xperia 1, making it suitable for watching movies and playing games. The phone also has a trio of 12-megapixel cameras that handle ultra-wide, telephoto and main camera tasks. It is currently available for pre-order in the US and costs about $949. (Image: Tom’s Guide)
7. Motorola Razr: In February, the Wall Street Journal said that Motorola may come back with its Razr model but as a foldable phone. Given that Motorola didn't make a peep about the device during Mobile World Congress, and subsequently squashed all Razr-related rumors around the time of the budget G7 series' launch, we're not quite as certain when we'll actually see the device in the flesh — though the phone's appearance in a Bluetooth certification document in April hints that it may be happening after all, Tom’s Guide said.
