The Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) of the Income Tax Department issued the intimation, citing apparent mistakes during the processing of ZHL's income tax return for the assessment year 2023-2024.
Aditya Birla Capital | The diversified financial services player on Tuesday said it has strengthened its financial portfolio through strategic investments in its subsidiaries, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd (ABFL) and Aditya Birla Capital Digital Ltd (ABCDL). The company has infused ₹850 crore into ABFL and ₹50 crore into ABCDL on a rights basis, according to a stock exchange filing.
Kansai Nerolac Paints | The paint maker on Tuesday said it has signed a pact with Aethon Developers Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Runwal Developers Private Ltd, for the sale of the company’s land parcel at Lower Parel for ₹726 crore. "Accordingly, the company has entered into an agreement for sale with the purchaser," the company added.
Piramal Enterprises | The financial services arm of the Piramal Group on Tuesday said its wholly-owned subsidiary Piramal Consumer Products Private Ltd is acquiring Piramal Tower located at Peninsula Corporate Park, Lower Parel, Mumbai for ₹875 crore. The deal involves an agreement between Piramal Consumer Products Private and AASAN Corporate Solutions Private, a promoter group company.
Seamec | The marine services company on Tuesday said it has formalised the memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with HAL Offshore Ltd for charter of advanced offshore support vessels, namely ‘Sea Pearl’ and ‘Sea Diamond,’ that will be deployed for ONGC, as per the contract. The agreements also include provisions for potential extensions based on operational requirements.

Zee Learn | The education company on Tuesday said private lender Axis Bank Ltd has filed a petition under Section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The petition aims to initiate the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) for Zee Learn before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Mumbai.
Karnataka Bank| The Mangaluru-headquartered bank said it has enabled the facility of payment of direct taxes (income tax and advance tax) for its customers. The bank is already providing the facility of online remittance through 'Icegate' portal for Customs duty payment, GSTN portal for goods and service taxes payments and over-the-counter mode on behalf of CBIC.
Power Grid Corporation| The state-owned company on Tuesday said that it has acquired two special purpose vehicles (SPV) to implement power transmission projects -- Vataman Transmission and Koppal II Gadag II Transmission from PFC Consulting. The Power Grid Corporation had bagged these two projects under tariff-based competitive bidding conducted by PFC Consulting, two separate BSE filings showed.
