As global leaders converge in New Delhi for the G20 Summit, Bharat Mandapam is all set to offer them an array of unique and immersive experiences that celebrate India's technological prowess, innovation, and rich cultural heritage. The venue, which hosts this international gathering, will serve as a platform for fostering global understanding, inclusivity, and shared identity.
Culture Corridor - G20 Digital Museum: In a display of unity and heritage, Bharat Mandapam will introduce the world to the 'Culture Corridor - G20 Digital Museum.' This project will serve as a celebration of the shared cultural heritage of G20 member countries and invitees. The corridor will house iconic and historically significant artifacts and heritage from the G20 member nations and the nine invitee countries. It's envisioned as a platform for fostering cross-cultural understanding, knowledge sharing, inclusivity, and a shared global identity.
Digital India Experience Zone: Halls 4 and 14 of the Bharat Mandapam will host the 'Digital India Experience Zone,' providing visitors with a firsthand encounter of India's technological prowess.
This zone will offer key insights into India's Digital India initiatives, including Aadhaar, DigiLocker, UPI, eSanjeevani, DIKSHA, Bhashini, ONDC, and Ask GITA. The latter, combining the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita with cutting-edge AI technology, promises to be a remarkable highlight. The zone will also showcase initiatives like MyGov, CoWIN, UMANG, JanDhan, eNAM, GSTN, FastTag, and more.
RBI's Innovation Pavilion: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will host an 'Innovation Pavilion' at the G20 Summit, offering a glimpse into India's cutting-edge financial technologies poised to reshape the global financial landscape. The pavilion will feature products showcasing unique facets of India's financial innovation — including Central Bank Digital Currency, a Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit, and Unique Payment System products like UPI One World, Rupay on the GO, and Cross Border bill payments through Bharat Bill Payments.
Payment System Experience Centre: UPI One World, designed for inbound foreign travelers who do not have Indian bank accounts, will be a focal point of the payment system experience centre. Delegates will be onboarded onto UPI One World, with wallets prefunded with Rs 2,000 to facilitate their secure and hassle-free transactions during their stay in India.
Crafts Bazaar: Hall No. 3 of the Bharat Mandapam will host the enchanting 'Crafts Bazaar,' where visitors can explore and purchase exquisite handicraft products from various regions of India. Special emphasis will be placed on products bearing the 'One District One Product' designation and those with Geographical Indication (GI) tags. Over 30 Indian states and union territories, along with central agencies like the Khadi Village and Industries Commission and Tribal Co-operative Marketing Federation of India (TRIFED), will participate. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness live demonstrations by master craftsmen, showcasing their incredible skills and craftsmanship.
