Revuelto’s Debut: The Lamborghini Revuelto, successor to the esteemed Aventador, is set to launch in India on 6th December 2023. This marks the first series Lamborghini to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Pricey Proposition: Expected to launch later this year, the Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first V12 plug-in hybrid flagship. The supercar is likely to cost Rs 8.9 crore (ex-showroom, India), with its on-road price expected to exceed Rs 10 crore.
Engine Excellence: The Revuelto’s 6.5-litre V12 engine produces 825hp and 725Nm of torque. Combined with three electric motors and a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the total output is a staggering 1,015hp. The battery pack also provides an EV-only range of 10 km.
Power Delivery: Power is delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This enables the Revuelto to accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 349.2 km/h.
Design Distinction: The Revuelto’s design showcases Lamborghini’s DNA with sharp, edgy, and extravagant elements. Y-shaped motifs feature prominently, from the headlights and air intakes to the high-mounted hexagonal-shaped exhausts flanked by Y-shaped tail lights.
Iconic Interiors: True to Lamborghini’s tradition, the Revuelto features iconic scissor doors. The interior is completely new and follows the Y-shape design theme. It includes an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side display.
Digital Dashboard: Both the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 9.1-inch passenger-side display can display the same information simultaneously. The three screens have also eliminated most of the physical buttons, apart from the ones on the steering wheel.
Rivalry Resumes: The Revuelto will compete against Ferrari’s SF90 Stradale, which is priced at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom, before options).
