The Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 are powered by air-cooled, interior permanent magnet synchronous motors. They deliver a maximum output of 11.8 bhp, a continuous output of 6kW, and 39.32 nm of torque. This powertrain allows for a top speed of approximately 99.7 kmph.

An ‘E-boost’ feature can be activated for 15 seconds to temporarily increase acceleration and overtaking capabilities. The bikes offer two power modes (road and eco) and a walk mode for slow forward and backward movement during parking.

These features can be accessed through Kawasaki’s 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster. The electric motorcycles maintain the steel trellis chassis of their ICE counterparts, along with non-adjustable 41 mm telescopic forks and a mono-shock suspension.

A key distinguishing factor is their light grey colourway with green accents, highlighting their electric nature. Notably, there are no side exhausts, and the bikes feature 100/130-section tires for added differentiation.
