Automobile sector in the country has been adversely affected by the continuing downturn in the economy. Passenger vehicle sales witnessed a marginal increase of 0.28 percent in October year-on-year. Maruti Suzuki, India's largest automaker, dominates the sedan segment with two of its offering making the top three in sales last month. These are the top selling sedans in India in October 2019:
