Sporty Arrival: Hyundai India has launched the sportier version of the compact SUV, the Creta N Line, starting from ₹16.82 lakh. This new model is available in two broad trims, N8 and N10, and comes with a turbo-petrol engine.
Design Tweaks: The Creta N Line stands out from the standard car with several design tweaks. The front features a sleek rectangular grille and a revised bumper with an aggressively styled skid plate and red inserts. The side profile reveals 18-inch alloys and red accents on the brake callipers and door sills.
Rear Features: At the rear, the connected LED tail lamps have been retained. The design updates are rounded off with a revised bumper featuring dual exhaust tips.
Interior Updates: Inside, the dashboard design and layout remain identical to the standard car. However, the N Line gets a black dashboard with red highlights and stitching. The ambient lighting is red, and there’s a bespoke steering wheel, gear knob, and seat covers with ‘N’ badging.
Top Features: The Creta N Line is packed with features. These include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and a Bose sound system.
Safety First: Safety features in the Creta N Line include six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS.
Power and Performance: The Hyundai Creta N Line is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160 PS and 253 Nm. It comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission like the standard car, but the N Line also offers a 6-speed manual gearbox for driving enthusiasts. Changes have been made for tighter handling, including a stiffer suspension setup and a quicker steering rack. The exhaust note is throatier for a more involving drive.
Competitive Landscape: The Hyundai Creta N Line competes with the Kia Seltos GT Line and VW Taigun GT. It also serves as a sporty alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, and Skoda Kushaq.
