Bajaj Chetak Electric unveiled: Check photos, price and other details

Two-wheeler major Bajaj Auto on Wednesday unveiled the electric avatar of its iconic scooter brand Chetak. The re-entry of the iconic Chetak brand comes nearly two decades after its production was stopped by the company. With Chetak Electric, the price of which would not be more than Rs 1.5 lakh, the company aspires to disrupt the scooter market. Here's a look at the electric version of Chetak:

The scooter comes with a range of 85 km on sports mode and 95 km on eco mode on a single charge of around 5 hours.

The company plans to start selling the electric scooters under the Chetak brand January onwards from Pune and then move to Bengaluru. After gauging the response, it would expand operations to other locations.
