Mini’s Evolution: Mini, the British carmaker, has always been about driving pleasure and speed. The 2025 Mini Countryman, the largest Mini yet, is a testament to this evolution.
Radical Changes: The 2025 Mini Countryman has undergone significant changes, not just in size but also in powertrain and drivetrain. This has impacted the pricing, with the base model starting from $39,895 in the USA.
New Base Model: The base model for the 2025 Countryman is the S ALL4, replacing the 2024 model’s Countryman Cooper. The S ALL4 comes with a performance-oriented 2.0L engine and standard AWD.
Production and Availability: Production is set to begin in March 2024, with units hitting dealerships by May 2024. The electric counterpart of the Countryman will be available in the fall of 2024.
Design Inspiration: The design of the 2025 Countryman is reminiscent of the 4th generation Suzuki Swift. It sports a modern appeal with a clamshell bonnet, a large grill, and silver elements in the lower bumper.
Exterior Features: The Countryman features upright A-pillars, strong lines, and a boxy silhouette. Body claddings are present all around, reducing visual bulk and deviating from Mini’s past designs.
Rear Design: The rear features a conventional tailgate, LED tail lights celebrating British heritage, a pronounced roof spoiler, and centrally mounted twin exhausts. A large panoramic sunroof is also visible from the top.
Interior Excellence: Inside, a large circular bezel-less display combines instrumentation and infotainment functions. The interiors, made by BMW, promise top-notch quality, fit, and finish.
Engine Variants: The 2025 Mini Countryman comes in two variants – S ALL4 and JCW. The 1.5L engine has been discontinued, replaced by a new 2.0L engine packing 241 horses in the S ALL4 and 312 in the JCW variant.
India Launch: The India launch of the 2025 Mini Countryman might be on the cards next year
