Unity Small Finance Bank offers up to 7.75% interest rate on savings accounts

Unity Small Finance Bank offers up to 7.75% interest rate on savings accounts
Unity Small Finance Bank (Unity Bank) on Wednesday, December 6, enhanced its savings account interest rates slabs. It has added an additional slab offering 7.75% per annum on deposits greater than ₹5 crore. The additional slab will benefit HNIs and institutional clients, the lender said.

For deposits up to ₹1 lakh, Unity Bank offers an interest rate of 6.00%, whereas on balances between ₹1 lakh – ₹5 crore, it offers 7.00% interest rate.
The savings account interest rates stands revised from November 30, 2023 as follows:

For premature withdrawal of fixed deposit and recurring deposits, a premature penalty of 1% is charged to the rate applicable for the period the deposit has remained with the bank, or the contracted rate, whichever is lower, the lender said.
