Bank of Baroda launches 7 new current accounts, revamps 3 existing ones: Check key features

This account is tailored for women entrepreneurs and offers free Soundbox QR and QR Code Generation to support women empowerment.

Designed for businesses conducting predominantly digital transactions, this account provides free Soundbox QR and a VISA Vyapaar DI Debit Card.

This account is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses and offers services such as 10 free Soundbox QR and 2 free MPOS/POS.

Tailored for small and medium-sized businesses, this account comes with 20 free Soundbox QR and 4 free MPOS/POS.

Geared towards medium and large businesses, this account offers 30 free Soundbox QR and 8 free MPOS/POS.

Aimed at elite businessmen, e-commerce companies, and large traders, key features of the account include 50 free Soundbox QR and 10 free MPOS/POS.

These accounts come other value-added services too based on the chosen account such as higher anywhere cash deposit limits, collateral-free overdraft facility with the current account, curated Baroda Cash Management Services for the higher account variants, in addition to lower monthly average balance requirements.

Speaking on the development, Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda said, “The newly launched current account products have been designed to meet the dynamic requirements of businesses and individuals alike. These initiatives are geared towards growing our low-cost deposits and increasing our market share."

Other benefits include a lifetime free corporate credit card (subject to eligibility) for the current accountholders, discounts on processing charges on retail loans (including home, auto, education and mortgage loan) and discounted demat account facility.

In tandem with this launch, Bank of Baroda has also revamped its three existing current account products – bob Advantage, bob Premium, and bob Supreme.

While bob Advantage Current Account offers immediate credit of outstation cheques up to ₹20,000, bob Premium Current Account (BPCA) is designed for customers requiring premium banking services.

On the other hand, bob Supreme Current Account is tailored for customers seeking top-tier banking privileges.
