Hyderabad-based Zen Technologies has bagged an order worth ₹100 crore from the Ministry of Defence for its advanced tank training system.

"The innovative system empowers tank units and sub-units to engage in training on real terrains under authentic conditions using their equipment, without the necessity for live ammunition," Zen Technologies said.
In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, Zen Technologies said that the system has been designed, developed and tested in-house by it.
With this inaugural order for the force-on-force tank training simulators, the company expects a strong demand for this product in both domestic as well as international markets in the forthcoming period.
Moreover, Zen Technologies remains confident about the Army's potential transition to the Zen Armoured Combat Training System (ACTS) for their force-on-force training requirements.
Zen Technologies, which is engaged in providing military training and drone solutions, said that acquisition of such equipment elevate the training methods of Indian Armed forces. This is in alignment with the Framework for Simulators issued by the Defence Ministry in September 2021.
The company said that opting for simulated training provides significant cost as well as time savings, besides, substantially boosting efficiency.
During the June-September quarter, the company won orders worth ₹733 crore.
At 9.45 am, shares of Zen Technologies were trading 3.43% lower at ₹652 on the BSE.
