Trade with caution in metal companies, says Abakkus' Sunil Singhania

Sunil Singhania, founder of Abakkus Asset Management on Saturday said that investors must trade with caution in metal companies as the price swings in the final product prices are very high.

He said, "The intensity with which the market has risen post the scare of March and April has come as a surprise. Most of us expected markets to recover a bit but not in the same way as it has recovered over the past three-four months in particular."

"However, our view is that there is juice in the market. There is a momentum that is being built not in terms of the technical factors but in terms of the momentum in the economy. It should also mean that earnings as well as the economy, which were written off, might end up doing much better than what we all were expecting," he added.
