Information Technology (IT) major Wipro on Friday, January 12, declared an interim dividend of 1 per equity share for its shareholders as it declared results for the December quarter (Q3FY24).

"Payment of interim dividend of ₹1/- per equity share of par value ₹2/- each to the Members of the Company as on January 24, 2024, being the Record Date. The payment of Interim Dividend will be made on or before February 10, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing.
Wipro has fixed January 24 as the record date for considering eligible shareholders for the interim dividend, and it will be credited on or before February 10.

Wipro Ltd. is now expecting revenue for the March quarter to be between a drop of -1.5% to a growth of 0.5% on a constant currency basis. Wipro's revenue in rupee terms stood at ₹22,141 crore compared to ₹22,395.8 crore in the September quarter. The figure was marginally higher than the CNBC-TV18 poll of ₹21,989 crore.
Wipro's shares ended 4% higher ahead of the results at ₹466.10.
