Vascon Engineers shares rose over 14 percent on Thursday, breaking a three-day falling streak, after the company received an order worth Rs 83.52 crore from Airport Authority of India.
The stock quoted at Rs 15.90 per share, up almost 11 percent, leading on BSE SmallCap index at 10.40 am.
The SmallCap index has surged 0.65 percent with Olectra, QuickHeal, Linde India and others leading on the index, while Rain Industries plunged over 5 percent.
The Vascon Engineers stock corrected almost 59 percent in the last one year, while the three-year return on the stock was also negative, down by 30 percent. During the same period, benchmark BSE Sensex advanced over 5 percent in one year and almost 56 percent in three years.
