The pharma industry has been on the rise on Dalal Street after the COVID-19 pandemic struck. The rally has been constant and now, there is a section that believes that the upsurge might be over. However, CNBC-TV18's Udayan Mukherjee doesn't believe so.

In August, a lot of the good news has been priced in by the market; the unlock bump, economically and from a stock price perspective, has been factored in and now as the result season come to an end, the market will have to look at fresh positives, which are still not in the price and that might be a bit of a challenge.
“However, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to get out of the sector yet,” according to Mukherjee.
Speaking about banks, he said, “It’s clear that banks will not be the leader of the next run. It has never happened, in my memory at least, that in two successive runs in the market the leader has remained the same and there is enough evidence to suggest that banks will not lead, whatever run is to continue from here on.”
