Mitessh Thakkar on January 17: Buy Adani Port, Dr Reddys, Lupin, Finloex Pipes, & ITC

Speaking about individual stock ideas, Thakkar said, “I will add Adani Port to my list in the sense that it was a recommendation yesterday only and I continue to maintain my positive view. That apart, I have more of bias towards the pharmaceutical names. Dr Reddys despite having bad news the intraday charts ended up with strength. So, that is a buy with a stop at Rs 2,592 for targets close to about Rs 2,680. Lupin the candlestick pattern is quite positive. It should see more upward continuation. So that is a buy with a stop at Rs 851.50 for targets of Rs 890. Finolex Pipes are one of the midcaps which I would recommend. Good price and volume breakout. It is a buy with a stop at Rs 547 for targets of Rs 585. My final call is on ITC. I have been recommending this stock earlier as well, but there are clear cut more and more continuation signals occurring on the indicator setup. So, buy with a stop at Rs 288 and look for targets of Rs 308.”
