India's equity, currency and debt markets are closed on Monday for a holiday.
On Friday, the S&P BSE Sensex ended 674.36 points or 2.39 percent lower at 27,590.95 and the NSE Nifty50 closed 170 points or 2.06 percent lower at 8,083.80.
The 10-year benchmark bond yield closed at 6.31 percent, while the rupee settled at 76.23 against the US dollar.
Financial markets will resume trading on Tuesday, April 7.
