Indian equity benchmarks ended higher on Monday, boosted by gains in metal and financial stocks, as investors continued to cheer Prime Minister Narendra Modi's massive victory.
The Sensex settled 248 points higher at 39,683, while the Nifty50 added 81 points to end at 11,925. Broader markets outperformed benchmark indices with Nifty Midcap and the Nifty Smallcap indices adding 1.6 percent each.

SmallCap World Fund sold 19,75,373 shares of Cox & Kings Financial Services at Rs 14.37 per share aggregating to a total amount of Rs 2,83,86,110.
American Funds Insurance Series Global Small Capitalization and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority sold 0.22 percent each in Cox &
Kings Financial Services.
