"This year all global central banks could see synchronised easing & liquidity injection", Chadha said on Thursday.
“While the US has maintained a pause, the bond market there is clearly reflecting that there could be a change of stance by the Fed towards the second half of the year.”
Talking about the liquidity scenario, Chadha said, “Global liquidity will be comfortable unlike 2018 where we saw the US and some of the emerging markets raising rates. So that would be supportive. Domestic flows have slowed down a little bit, but it is steady. I think the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) measure of introducing the rupee-dollar swaps to inject durable liquidity will open up new liquidity tool other than the OMO and it will eventually bring down the shorter end rates which are the corporate bond side".
Speaking about Zee Entertainment, Chadha said, “Below Rs 300 it was a shout to buy. At this level, I think it should be a wait and watch. If you divide Zee business and only look at from the fundamental perspective, its subscription revenue, its advertisement revenue, the OTT platform which I am most impressed with which is their Zee5, I am positive on all three.”
