Recommending stock specific ideas, Gujral said, "Reliance Capital is a sell with a stop of Rs 230 and target of Rs 215. Reliance Infrastructure is a sell with a stop of Rs 352 and target of Rs 335. Adani Power is a buy with a stop of Rs 54 and target of Rs 60."

Speaking about stock picks, Ashwani Gujral said, “Cipla is a buy that is because it has gone down for so long. It is now at fairly strong long-term supports. So, that is a buy with a stop of Rs 515 target of Rs 540. Bajaj Finance is a buy with a stop of Rs 2,450 target of Rs 2,530 and Vedanta is a buy with a stop of Rs 194 target of Rs 208.”

“IRB Infrastructure is a buy with a stop of Rs 152 target of Rs 164. Biocon is a buy with a stop of Rs 600 target of Rs 621 and Piramal Enterprises is a buy with a stop of Rs 2,100 target of Rs 2,250.”
