“Indian equities closed the day and fiscal year on an optimistic note, with volatility by the end of the session, as buying by retails, DIIs, and FIIs surged across categories. The mid- and small-cap stocks have emerged as frontrunners, rebounding from the initial sell-off earlier in the month. An upgrade in the domestic economy forecast hints at an encouraging outlook for the stock market in FY25. However, the emphasis is on large-cap due to the persisting premium valuations of mid-cap stocks, which could pose a concern on the broad market in the short to medium term,” says Vinod Nair, Head of Research, Geojit Financial Services.

Here are a couple of stock recommendations by Aditya Agarwala, Invest4edu:

– Buy Bajaj Finserv at a target of Rs 1,820-1,850 with a stop loss of Rs 1,570
– Buy V-Guard Industries at a target of Rs 370 with a stop loss of Rs 320

Latent View Analytics Ltd shares gained nearly 7% on Thursday, March 28, after the company’s board approved the acquisition of 100% stake in the business transformation services provider Decision Point Private Limited.

The company’s board of directors at the meeting held on March 28 approved the strategic investment for the acquisition of up to 100% total paid-up equity share capital of Decision Point Private Ltd in multiple tranches, Latent View said in a filing to the stock exchanges.

Shares of India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd. are trading with gains of over 6% on Thursday after Kotak Institutional Equities initiated coverage on the stock with a ‘buy’ recommendation and a price target of ₹685, citing the company’s high-growth outlook in the affordable housing finance sector.

At 2 pm, the scrip was trading 6% higher at ₹621.30 apiece on the NSE. The price target implies a potential upside of 17% from Wednesday’s closing levels.
