Stock Market Highlights | Sensex, Nifty 50 end session at record high

Stock Market Highlights: The market closed with minor gains today but scaled record closing highs as Nifty ended above 22,500 and Sensex above 74,100 for the first time. Sensex rose 33 points to 74,119 and Nifty gained 20 points to reach 22,494. Nifty Bank snapped a 6-day gaining streak led by ICICI and Axis. However, the Midcap Index rose 109 points to 48,966. M&M fell 4%, Tata Steel surged by 4%, and Bajaj Auto extended its gaining streak by rising another 3% to hit a record high.
