Today is the first trading day of the new financial year and the curtains come down on one of the most unprecedented years, which was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The year of the pandemic was the best year in almost a decade for the equity markets, so FY21 saw nearly 71 percent gains for the Nifty. It came on the back of the 26 percent decline.
