Positive on financial sector despite recent weakness; bullish on PI Inds: Motilal AMC

Stocks from the financial services sector have lagged the rest of the market on fears that they stood to be impacted the most due to the downturn in the economy, said Siddharth Bothra, senior Vice President and Fund Manager at Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company told CNBCTV18 in an interview.

But he is of the view that there are quite a few banks with good customer profile and sound credit appraisal and risk management systems, and that investors should take advantage of the general bearishness in the sector to pick up some quality names.
