Infrastructure and allied services companies NBCC Ltd., Kalpataru Projects Ltd. and Bajaj Electricals Ltd. are witnessing their shares surge in Monday's session after they received multiple orders from various entities.

On Monday, one of the largest specialised EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) companies Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) said that it has secured new orders/notification of awards worth Rs 2,217 crore along with its subsidiaries.
Of this, orders in the T&D (transmission and distribution) business stood at Rs 1,993 crore in India and overseas markets, while Rs 224 crore of orders came from the building and factories division in India.
“Our flagship T&D business has secured noteworthy order inflows of around Rs 5,400 crore till date in FY24, which provides good visibility for growth going forward,” said Manish Mohnot, MD and CEO, KPIL.
At 11:22 am on BSE, KPIL shares were trading 2.2 percent higher at Rs 673 apiece after hitting an intra-day high of Rs 687.55.
Bajaj Electricals also announced that it has bagged a service contract worth Rs 564 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The contract is for 400 kV transmission lines in Andhra Pradesh and the project is to be completed in 21 months.
The stock was trading at Rs 1,102.70 on BSE at 11:22 am, up 2.8 percent from its previous close, at 11:22 am on Monday on BSE.
NBCC (India) Ltd also announced on Friday that it has received a Rs 80 crore work order for renovation/ refurbishment of an office building located in the Visakhapatnam Port Authority.
The NBCC stock on Monday jumped as much as 5 percent to trade at a new 52-week high of Rs 66.20. By 11:22 am, the share price trimmed gains to trade 2 percent higher at Rs 64.34.
Another company, Skipper Ltd also informed that it has won fresh orders worth Rs 588 crore from domestic and international markets. Skipper is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of power transmission and distribution structures and a prominent manufacturer of telecom and railway structures.
Skipper said that new orders in the domestic T&D business stood at Rs 468 crore, while those from the international T&D business stood at Rs 120 crore.
