Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd on Monday posted a 77% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit at ₹626.8 crore for the quarter ended December 2023. The same stood at ₹354 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Revenue from operations during the reporting period surged 30% on-year to ₹2,362.5 crore as against ₹1,815.9 crore in the corresponding period of last year.
EBITDA or operating profit jumped 82% on-year to ₹539 crore in the quarter, while margins improved to 22.8%.
The Board at its meeting November 8 last year had recommended an interim dividend of ₹15.34 per share and the company had paid it on December 2023.
Shares of Mazagon Dock closed 4.56% higher at ₹2,213.90 apiece on the NSE today. The scrip has rallied over 200% in the last one year.
