L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) announced on Tuesday that it has entered into collaboration with the US-based technology giant Intel Corporation for scaling Edge-AI solutions.
L&T Technology Services has collaborated with Intel Corporation in order to develop as well as provide scalable edge-AI solutions for a range of use cases, which includes Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (CV2X) applications, the company informed the stock exchanges.
Through this collaboration with Intel, the digital engineering services company will augment its services related to smart cities and road infrastructure, which will facilitate and lay the groundwork for enabling intelligent transportation systems.
The listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Ltd, LTTS has an expertise in the domains of connected vehicles and smart transportation systems, which has been pivotal in the development and implementation of advanced communication technologies, such as telematics, ADAS and C2VX.
By harnessing Intel’s Edge Platform, including built-in AI runtime the with OpenVINO inference for real-time AI inferencing optimisation, LTTS will empower on-premises and hybrid AI scenarios for traffic management and emergency safety in smart cities and transportation, the company said in a filing to the stock exchanges.

By running seamlessly on standard hardware and featuring built-in edge-native AI runtime powered by OpenVINO for inferencing, this platform embodies innovation and efficiency,” said the Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of L&T Technology Services, Abhishek Sinha.
Shares of L&T Technology Services were trading 0.32% higher at ₹5,271 apiece on BSE at 11:55 am.
