Shares of Easy Trip Planners, which operates the travel portal EaseMyTrip, rose more than 3% on Wednesday, February 28, after the company said it has collaborated with Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd to provide integrated travel and expense management solutions to corporates.
Corporate clients of travel booking platform EaseMyTrip will now have seamless access to Zaggle's EMS platform. This will include everything from booking flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements to managing the expense process incurred during the travel.
"Through the integration of travel booking functionality with expense reporting capabilities, the partnership offers a streamlined workflow, ensures compliance with corporate policies, and provides real-time visibility into travel expenditure," Easy Trip Planners said in a stock exchange filing..
The increasing volumes of corporate travel and emphasis on cost control have intensified the demand for robust expense management solutions, the company said. Modern solutions offer user-friendly interfaces, mobile apps, and automated processes, streamlining expense reporting and enhancing the overall travel experience for employees, the company added.
Expense management solutions are facilitating travel by ensuring policy compliance, providing centralised visibility, enhancing efficiency and automation, and offering data-driven insights.
The company said the integrated travel and expense solution offers several advantages for businesses, including reduced errors, increased savings, and enhanced traveller experience.

Industry estimates project that Indian travelers will spend a total of $410 billion by 2030, positioning India as the fourth-largest global spender. This represents a significant 173% increase compared to the pre-Covid period in 2019.

At 10.22 am, shares of Easy Trip Planners were trading 1.31% higher at ₹49.55 on the BSE.
