The collaboration is focused on applications in the agriculture sector, survey and surveillance, solar panel cleaning, windmill maintenance, facade cleaning, and defence, the Pune-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturer said in a stock exchange filing.
Vimaan Aerospace has selected DroneAcharya to deliver advanced aerial solutions and technologies, along with essential training for smooth integration and utilisation of drones across diverse industries, the latter said in stock exchange filing.
This alliance is poised to commence with projects in Satara, Maharashtra, and expand nationwide in the near future. “We believe that this collaboration will not only enhance our capabilities but will also position both entities as leaders in the ongoing drone revolution,” Prateek Srivastava, founder and managing director of DroneAcharya, said.
Last month, DroneAcharya secured a new order from the defence ministry for the drone training of the Indian Army personnel. Under the contract, it would provide capacity building and advanced drone training at the Mechanised Army Courses Group, Ahmednagar.
