Krishna Kumar Karwa, managing director (MD) of Emkay Global, on Thursday said that any dip is an opportunity to buy into quality stocks.
Speaking in an interview to CNBC-TV18, he said, "We are in the midst of a strong bull market and it's a time to stay invested in quality portfolio and any dip will be an opportunity for investors to buy into the stocks they are interested in."
Healthcare and diagnostic companies, said Karwa, could do well from here on. "The core business has got good long-term prospects and that should deliver decent returns despite the run-up that some of these companies will see in the short-term,” he said.
However, insurance companies’ valuations are not cheap but the scope for growth is tremendous, he said.
On real estate front, Karwa said, "The whole real estate chain which includes not only the developers but also the building material companies and even some of the home finance companies should attract decent amount of investments."
