Centre asks judges to be 'fair' on recommending KM Joseph's name as SC judge

Centre on Thursday urged the five group of judges to reconsider their choice of Uttarakhand Chief Justice KM Joseph for promotion as Supreme Court judge. The government asked the judges to be "fair" as Justice Joseph's name was not recommended in merit.

Whereas, the government cleared Indu Malhotra's name as Supreme Court judge on Wednesday.
