A video of a student slapping a Physics Wallah teacher during a live class has gone viral on social media. In the video, a student of the ed-tech platform is seen slapping the teacher with a slipper twice. The video has been reportedly recorded by a student attending the class online.

The video has been shared by a page on X, but the timing of the incident is not known.
“Slap-Kalesh b/w Physics wallah Student and Teacher during Live class,” read the tweet.
In the nine-second-long video, the teacher has seen teaching when suddenly a student charges towards him to hit him with a slipper. However, the reason behind the incident is not known yet.
Meanwhile, the video has crossed over 6.6 lakh views and many of the social media users seemed to ask about the reason behind the assault. One of the users commented, “What is the matter? Why did he beat the teacher?”
A second user wrote, “PhysicsWallah se student nahi sambhal rahe.”
“This particular category of misguided students, lacking reverence for their educators, shall inevitably fail to achieve success in their future endeavours”, said another.
A fourth comment read, “Respect Your Teacher.”
Earlier in February, the ed-tech platform Physics Wallah terminated a centre manager in Rajasthan after a video containing the discussion between the management and students went viral.
“Students are our top priority at PhysicsWallah, and as such, the centre manager has been relieved of their duties with immediate effect,” Physics Wallah said in a statement.
Recently, the ed-tech company announced the launch of ‘Prerna,’ a complimentary helpline designed to address the emotional and mental well-being of students. Physics Wallah has claimed that this helpline has already been a source of support for over 20,000 students across the country. Additionally, it has also mentioned plans to broaden its offline support services with the target of establishing centres in 16 more cities, ensuring access to expert counselling services in different languages as well.
