In a security breach at Lok Sabha, two people jumped down from the visitor's gallery and reportedly hurled gas-emitting object. The House was adjourned after the commotion.

Around the same time, two persons, including a woman, also sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting slogans 'tanashahi nahi chalegi' outside the Parliament premises. All four have been detained by security forces.
Two persons, involved in the Lok Sabha incident, have been identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan. Sharma had come to the visitor's gallery as a guest of Mysuru Lok Sabha member Prathap Simha.
Lok Sabha Security, Delhi Police and Paramilitary forces have cordoned off the area. An anti-terror unit special cell of the Delhi Police arrived inside the Parliament to question the people who caused the security breach at the Lok Sabha.
Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla informed MPs, "Both of them have been nabbed and the materials with them have also been seized. The two people outside the Parliament have also been arrested by police..."
BJP MP Rajendra Agarwal, who was presiding over the Chair of Speaker, said "There is a loophole for sure. When the first person came down, we thought he might have fallen but when the second person started coming down, all of us became cautious. The person tried to open his shoes and took something out after which smoke came out. Action will be taken against this. The Speaker and responsible people will make the decision on this. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also reached the House when all of this happened."
The incident happened on the day when the Parliament was attacked by terrorists 22 years ago. On December 13, 2001, terrorists of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed outfits attacked the Parliament complex killing nine people.
