Republic Day celebrated on January 26 commemorates the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950, marking India's transition to a sovereign republic. The highlight of the celebrations is the grand parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. On the upcoming 75th Republic Day, the parade will prominently feature all-women contingents from the defence forces, showcasing women's empowerment. The parade will also include diverse state and Union Territory tableaux, depicting their culture, history, and achievements. The event will conclude with a spectacular flypast by the Indian Air Force, displaying the latest fighter jets and helicopters.
