Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded his government's accomplishments in the Northeast region during a public address in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday. Emphasising the swift progress made, he asserted that projects valued at ₹55,600 crore have been unveiled, signalling a significant stride in the region's development.
Highlighting the transformative impact of his administration's initiatives, PM Modi said, "The Northeast is poised to emerge as a vital nexus in India's trade, tourism, and diplomatic ties with South Asia and East Asia."
He underscored the efficiency of his government's efforts by contrasting it with the perceived sluggishness of the opposition, stating, "What we have achieved in the last five years would have taken the Congress two decades."
Modi also extolled the tangible results of his policies, inviting scrutiny with the assertion, "One can witness firsthand 'Modi's guarantee' by visiting Arunachal Pradesh.." Amidst ongoing criticisms from opposition leaders, Modi reaffirmed his dedication to national progress, remarking that despite attacks from political adversaries, his focus remains steadfast on advancing the nation's prosperity.
