There is a reason why Bengaluru is referred to as the Silicon Valley of India. Now, in addition to the series of ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moments, a woman has shared her experience on X (formerly Twitter). The woman, named Shruti, said that she booked a Rapido service only to find out that the driver is a corporate manager at a renowned company.
She said, “In my peak Bangalore moment today, the Rapido guy turned out to be a corporate manager in one of the big companies, who likes to help people reach to their destination in reasonable amounts. I repeat anything is possible in Bangalore.”

In the post, Shruti also tagged the official X handle of the Rapido app, to which the company replied with gratitude and wrote, “Hi Shruti, we are grateful for your kind words towards our captain. After reading the post, we are pleased and we hope your upcoming rides with us will be delightful. Keep riding with Rapido and feel free to get back to us via DM for any future assistance.”
Several users have labelled the incident as “interesting”.
Another wrote, “Except having good roads, good traffic, good public infrastructure, and happy taxi drivers.”
Adding a humorous suggestion, another commented, “You don’t need LinkedIn anymore.”
Apart from this, another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment occurred when an X user shared about his cab driver who has launched his own ride-sharing application and is promoting the same to compete with the industry giants Uber and Ola. X user, The Bengaluru Man wrote in an X post, “Peak Bengaluru: Mr Lokesh my Uber cab driver informed me that he has launched his app to compete with Uber and Ola and already has over 600 drivers on his app. Moreover, today they launched their IOS version for Apple too.”
