6 people dead in coal mine fire in Nagaland's Wokha district

Nagaland witnessed a tragic incident that killed six people due to a fire in a coal mine on Thursday, as reported by News18.

The incident took place around 2 pm in Russain village in the Bhandari subdivision of the Wokha district of the north-eastern state when the gas released from the mine caught fire. Four people have also been injured in the incident and have been brought to Dimapur in Assam.


All six workers who died in the incident are from Assam.
