Public sector oil marketing companies increased the prices of Commercial LPG (Cooking Gas) cylinders on Friday. However, this price hike is specifically applicable to commercial gas cylinders. The price of commercial LPG gas cylinders has been increased by ₹21 per cylinder, effective immediately.
This latest revision comes after ₹100 increase on November 1, and a subsequent reduction of ₹57 on November 16. After the increase, the retail sales price of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder was revised to ₹1,796.5 in New Delhi and ₹1,749 in Mumbai.
It is important to note that there has been no alteration in the prices of domestic LPG. Meanwhile, in Chennai, the new price stands at ₹1,968.50, and in Kolkata, it is ₹1,908. These changes have been implemented immediately. Earlier, in Delhi, the price for commercial LPG was ₹1,775.50.
In contrast, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged. The last modification in non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinder rates occurred on August 30, reducing the cost in Delhi from ₹1,103 to ₹903. In Kolkata, the price is ₹929, while in Mumbai and Chennai, it is ₹902.50 and ₹918.50, respectively.
