India declares gangster Goldy Brar as terrorist under UAPA

India declares gangster Goldy Brar as terrorist under UAPA
Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, January 1, 2024 declared infamous gangster Goldy Brar, as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.

Satwinder Singh, also known as Goldy Brar is originally from Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab and departed for Canada on a student visa in 2017. A well-known figure in criminal circles, Brar has been involved in a series of heinous activities, including extortion, kidnapping, and alleged connections to organized crime networks. He remains an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Brar is believed to be the primary suspect in the murder case of singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely known as Sidhu Moosewala, who tragically lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred in the Mansa district on May 29 of the previous year.
Since allegedly accepting responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala in the Mansa district on May 29, 2021, Brar has gone underground.
