The tickets for India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2023 will be available at 55 metro stations. The IITF will be held from November 14 to November 27 at Pragati Maidan.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started the sale of entry tickets for the 42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF), a flagship event organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).

Starting today, entry tickets for the ‘business days’ (November 14–18) are available while the sales for ‘general public days’ will begin on November 19. The India International Trade Fair will be held from November 14 to November 27 at Pragati Maidan.
The DMRC has chosen 55 metro stations for ticket sales. Notably, in order to avoid overcrowding, the Supreme Court metro station, which is closest to the venue, will not sell IITF tickets.
The DMRC in an official statement said that tickets for both business and general days may be purchased at customer care centres at selected metro stations from 9 am to 4 pm.
Full list of 55 Metro stations to get IITF tickets:
  1. Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), Shahdara, Dilshad Garden, Inderlok, Rohini West, Netaji Subhash Place, Rithala – Red Line.
  2. Samaypur Badli, Azadpur, Jahangir Puri, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi, Central Secretariat, Saket, Delhi Haat INA, Sikanderpur, Millennium City Centre Gurugram – Yellow line.
  3. Noida Electronic City, Noida City Centre, Sector-52 Noida, Indraprastha, Barakhamba, Mandi House, Karol Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Kirti Nagar, Uttam Nagar East, Dwarka, Dwarka Mor, Vaishali, Karkarduma, Anand Vihar ISBT, Laxmi Nagar – Blue Line.
  4. Punjabi Bagh, Brig. Hoshiar Singh, Mundka – Green Line
  5. Kashmere Gate, ITO, Delhi Gate, Lajpat Nagar, Badarpur Border, Kalkaji Mandir, Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh) – Violet Line.
  6. Mayur Vihar-I, Welcome, Sarojini Nagar, Majlis Park, Shiv Vihar – Pink Line.
  7. Janak Puri West, Botanical Garden, Hauz Khas, Munirka – Magenta Line.
  8. Dhansa Bus Stand – Grey Line.
  9. Dwarka Sector-21 – Airport Express Line.
  10. Meanwhile, Delhi Traffic Police released a full advisory advising commuters to avoid a few routes around the Pragati Maidan area during the IITF 2023.
    The advisory states that visitor entry will be limited to gates 1, 4, 6, and 10, with restrictions on gates 5-A, 5-B, 7, 8, and 9. Exhibitors will access the venue through gates 1, 4, 5b, and 10, while media personnel have been directed to use gate 5-B. India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) officials will find entry points at gates 9 and 1.
    Additionally, the advisory specifies designated dropping points for chauffeur-driven vehicles, taxis and autos on the service lane in front of gates 3 and 7 of ITPO and near the entry gates of basement parking.
    To ensure smooth traffic management, vehicles are prohibited from halting or parking on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg. Strict no-parking zones include Sher Shah Road, Bhagwan Dass Road, Purana Quila Road, and Tilak Marg. Vehicles found in violation will be towed and prosecuted for improper parking and disobedience of lawful instructions, with the towed vehicles directed to National Stadium parking at gate number 5.
    The advisory encourages people to take public transport and suggests that Delhi Metro passengers deboard at Supreme Court Metro Station. From there, entry to ITPO is accessible through gate number 10, or shuttle services can be utilised for entry through gates 6 and 4.
    For those using DTC buses, designated bus stops on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg are suggested.
    Visitors are advised to utilize basement parking number 1, with entry and exit from Bhairon Marg and through the Pragati tunnel from the ring roadside. Other parking options include the Bhairon Mandir parking lot on Bhairon Road and the Delhi Zoo parking lot. Exhibitors and visitors are specifically advised to park their vehicles in basement parking number 2, located under Bharat Mandapam.
