A 30-year-old man was shot dead in broad daylight on Friday, January 19. Initial reports suggest he was a gym trainer and was likely associated with Air India as a crew member.
According to Noida Police, the incident took place in Sector 104, when the victim was in his car, while returning from a gym. "Sector-39 Police Station was informed about the incident occurred in Sector 104. Victim Suraj Bhan was returning from a gym named 'Anytime Fitness', and was fired at as soon as he sat in his car," Noida Police told CNBC-TV18.
"Victim succumbed to gunshots on his way to the hospital, Police is examining the crime spot. Body has been sent for post-mortem, Police has formed 4 teams to probe the incident," police said.
According to the report, the gym trainer was shot dead in his car. Five miscreants riding on two bikes fired about nine rounds. The police is present at the spot.
