Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust distributes free artificial limbs called Jaipur foot, polio calipers, wheelchairs, hearing aid and crutches to underprivileged.
The trust has distributed over 2.5 lakh mobility appliances since 2001.
Recently, the trust distributed 488 mobility and hearing equipment in Leh-Ladakh.
The trust was initially set-up to tackle the issue of poverty in Mumbai, especially amongst young children.
The trust now works for underprivileged people pan-India and in developing countries such as Afghanistan, Sudan, Kenya and Burundi.
