PLI scheme: Lukewarm response from pharma companies so far
Pharmaceutical companies have been lukewarm to the government's production linked incentive scheme announced for the sector. This scheme was announced back in April and till now not a lot of them have applied for it.
Pharmaceutical companies have been lukewarm to the government's production linked incentive scheme announced for the sector. This scheme was announced back in April and till now not a lot of them have applied for it.
The biggest one Divi's Laboratories say that it is less applicable to Divi’s and they are trying to understand what more benefits that they can see from this API scheme.
Solara Active Pharma says they are applying for the PLI scheme and they do see certain benefits that will come in for the company.
Laurus Labs is still evaluating the scheme.
