Canada identified as expansion area; Steriles biz around 10% of sales: Caplin Point

Caplin Point Laboratories’ arm Caplin Steriles has entered into a strategic partnership with JAMP Pharma Group for six injectable products to file shortly in Canada. To understand the way forward and their outlook for 2021, company's COO Vivek Siddharth spoke to CNBC-TV18.
“Canada has been one of the expansion areas for us in this year and next. So far we have not had a presence in Canada in terms of sales so that hopefully that starts to happen towards the end of this year and early next year,” Siddharth said.
“When it comes to injectable, Caplin Steriles business is around 10 percent of our overall revenues right now. This is one of the areas where we see a little bit more growth going forward,” he added.
Siddharth informed that the injectables generally have a better margin versus other products
“In terms of revenue, towards the overall company’s revenues we are at about 10 percent when it comes to the US business,” he said.
