Dinanath Dubhashi, MD & CEO of L&T Finance Holdings, on Monday said that disbursements and fee income have stayed strong in Q3.
Speaking in an interview to CNBC-TV18, he said, “We are seeing a surge in rural demand due to government schemes and good rainfall. So, a confluence of structural and seasonal factors in rural demand has helped disbursement.”
On farm collection, Dubhashi said the collection efficiency is better than pre-COVID-19 levels.
“We have made an additional provision of Rs 144 crore on a housing finance company exposure. The resolution is round the corner and hence whatever was the gap between our un-provided version and resolution money, we have largely provided that. So that is also done and dusted,” he said.
