Tax Dept survey at Zee Group and L&T continues for 2nd day: Sources

For the second consecutive day on Tuesday, the income tax department surveys are underway at the officers of the Zee Group and Larsen and Toubro (L&T). These are not akin to income tax raids but rather survey actions as the tax officials are digging for a lot of information to support their suspicions. The I-T department suspects that both the groups have evaded taxes, have unaccounted incomes and that is why their premises are being surveyed to get more information.
